Environmental & Planning
A&L Goodbody's Environmental & Planning team in Northern Ireland is recognised for a strong multidisciplinary offering, advising both public and private sector clients across the energy, manufacturing, retail, investment and waste sectors. Our all-island Belfast and Dublin team represent developers and objectors on both contentious and non-contentious matters. We provide legal advice across the full ambit of Environmental and Planning matters and we have represented clients before the Planning Appeals Commission and in judicial review proceedings in Northern Ireland, and act for three of the major Councils in Northern Ireland on planning matters. We regularly advise clients seeking planning permission for large scale energy and retail developments and draft and negotiate Section 76 Agreements on their behalf.
