I joined A&L Goodbody as a Trainee Solicitor in 2021. I had never worked in a law firm but had a background in the data protection sphere. I felt that my non-traditional work experience was really valued, and the firm appreciated the different insights that I could bring to the firm.
My biggest achievement so far was assisting my team with the first ever cross border conversion transaction. I felt like a valued member of the team and was involved heavily in the deal. This is something that no other trainee in Ireland (or Europe!) would be working on, so I was really proud of my contribution to the deal.
