Construction Contracts Act to apply to contracts entered into from 25 July 2016

It was confirmed yesterday that the Construction Contracts Act 2013 will apply to construction contracts entered into after 25 July 2016. 

With just fourteen weeks until the Act begins to apply to new construction contracts, it is likely that the provisions of the Act will apply to some sub-contracts where the main contract will have been entered into prior to 25 July 2016.
