CP86 - Synopsis, Feedback, Guidance & Next Steps

On 12 June, 2015, the Central Bank of Ireland (the CBI) published a document entitled "Fund Management Company Boards". This document includes feedback on, and consequential changes to the CBI's requirements and guidelines to be issued primarily as a result of, the CBI’s Consultation Paper (CP86) on Fund Management Company Effectiveness - Delegate Oversight published in September 2014, which set out a number of proposed initiatives designed to enhance fund management effectiveness and delegate oversight. In this bulletin we set out a synopsis of the information included in the Fund Management Company Boards document, the requirements that may need to be addressed and the timelines for implementation.
