Central Bank Financial Regulation priorities 2024

The Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) published its financial regulation priorities for 2024 in the CBI Governor’s letter to the Minister for Finance and the CBI’s Regulatory and Supervisory Outlook.

Fund authorisation process updates

The CBI is adjusting submission procedures for fund authorisations. The changes are scheduled for March 2024 and the CBI will update its website accordingly.

The European Commission will run a targeted consultation on macroprudential policies for non-bank financial intermediaries in 2024.
