A&L Goodbody and Simon Community NI celebrate charity partnership
A&L Goodbody (ALG) and Northern Ireland’s leading homeless charity, Simon Community NI, have marked the completion of a two-year partnership, which has been described as “hugely beneficial and inspiring.”
Over the past two years, ALG has raised more than £20,000.00 for the charity. In addition, through volunteering and pro bono legal advice, ALG’s 140-strong team in Belfast has supported Simon Community’s invaluable work in providing both immediate assistance and long-term solutions that end the cycle of homelessness.
Michael Neill, Head of ALG’s Belfast Office, has said, “We are exceptionally proud of our partnership with Simon Community NI and the meaningful impact we've made together over the past two years. Our team really bought into the partnership and, using their time and skills, have championed the crucial work carried out by Simon Community in Northern Ireland.
While this partnership may be coming to a close, our commitment to making a difference in our community remains as strong as ever. We look forward to continuing to support efforts that create lasting positive change for those in need."
Simon Community’s CEO Jim Dennison thanked ALG, saying that, “Through the incredible support of corporate partners like ALG, we can be there for everyone who needs our help and ensure that no-one faces homelessness alone. A huge thank you to everyone at ALG for your commitment, energy, and passion in helping Simon Community to end homelessness in Northern Ireland.”
