A&L Goodbody appoints four new partners and 38 new associates

A&L Goodbody has announced the appointment of four new partners bringing the total number of partners in the firm to 91.
The new partners are in the firm's Dublin, Belfast, New York and San Francisco offices and cover a range of practice areas including energy and natural resources, insurance, litigation, banking and finance. These appointments will further strengthen A&L Goodbody's domestic and international capability. The new partners are: Barbara Creed (Litigation, Belfast), John Dallas (Projects, Energy & Natural Resources, Dublin), Maria McElhinney (Banking and Financial Services, New York) and Sinéad Lynch (Insurance, Dublin). In addition the firm has promoted 38 new associates increasing our strength and depth of senior lawyers in the firm.

A&L Goodbody recently achieved a clean sweep of the four major legal awards for 2017 after winning American Lawyer magazine's award for 'Independent Law Firm of the Year' for law firms across Europe at the Transatlantic Legal Awards in London. This prestigious award follows being named by three other international publications as 'Irish Law Firm of the Year 2017' by The Lawyer, Who's Who Legal and the International Financial Law Review.
