A&L Goodbody appoints three new Partners

Firm also announces promotion of 19 lawyers to Associate level
A&L Goodbody has announced the appointment of three new partners. This brings the total number of partners at the firm to 87. The new partners are: Charlie Carroll (M&A and Corporate); Ciara McLoughlin (Employment); and Stephen Carson (Asset Management and Investment Funds).

Charlie Carroll joined A&L Goodbody in 2004 as a trainee. He has a strong track record in equity capital markets, public and private company transactional work and corporate finance activity. In addition, he has significant experience advising on commercial, contractual and corporate governance matters. Charlie supports international and indigenous companies across a variety of sectors, including: financial services; retail; IT; energy and telecommunications.
Ciara McLoughlin joined A&L Goodbody in 2006 as a Solicitor. She provides strategic HR advice to international and domestic clients. She has significant experience of all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law. As well as working on strategic change-management activity – such as reorganisation and transition projects – Ciara works closely with boards, HR departments and in-house legal teams on specialist employment issues. A fluent German speaker, Ciara is a founding member of the firm's German Group.
Stephen Carson joined A&L Goodbody in 2010 as an Associate. He advises international asset management firms and investment banks in relation to the establishment and authorisation of investment funds, including: UCITS; alternative investment funds; hedge funds; property funds and exchange traded funds. Stephen also acts for the promoters of – and service providers to – Irish domiciled investment funds, including: investment managers; fund administrators and custodians.
