ALG leads M&A league tables for both value and volume

A&L Goodbody (ALG) has once again been ranked the leading legal advisor for mergers & acquisitions in Ireland and Northern Ireland, by global information services company Experian. 

The firm took both top spots in the ROI tables, having advised on the most deals (88 deals), as well having advised on the largest deals by value, with a recorded €58.5bn. Our Belfast office also ranked in the report, with Experian naming ALG the ‘Most Active Legal Advisor’ in Northern Ireland by value of deals in 2021. 

The accolade follows on the success of ALG's Corporate M&A team being ranked the number one Irish law firm for M&A for 2021, by the leading publications Mergermarket and Refinitiv.
