ALG Solutions wins award at Legal Innovation Awards
ALG is delighted to share that our ALG Solutions (ALGS) group has won the Future of Legal Services Innovation award at this year’s ALM Law.com International Legal Innovation & Technology Awards.
The annual awards, which recognise “excellence in innovation” across the European legal market were held for the tenth year in London yesterday afternoon.
The firm received this award for the establishment of ALGS, which is ALG’s captive alternative legal services provider, and the creation of its bespoke career path.
ALGS is Ireland’s largest captive alternative legal services provider and a market leading driver of legal innovation. Our offering is unique in the Irish market in both size and diversity of capability, with over 60 professionals.
Sitting seamlessly alongside our specialist legal practice groups, we provide our clients with a broad range of legal services by combining scalable legal resourcing and expertise with technology, process engineering and project management.
In recognition of the depth and diversity of skillsets within ALGS, we have designed and implemented a sustainable career path model bespoke to the group, designed to recognise and equally value diverse skillsets. It provides for incremental career progression underpinned by the mapping of core and specialist competencies, required at each career level across every discipline within the group. This provides complete transparency and a clear vision of longer-term career trajectories within this sector.
Commenting on the award, Charlie Carroll, Partner and Head of ALG Solutions said:
"ALG Solutions is at the cutting edge of technology adoption, project management and agile resourcing to enhance how we support our clients on their most important business mandates.
Creating a bespoke career path trajectory for our multidisciplinary professionals has enhanced our ability to attract, retain and develop diverse talent. It is a catalyst for a firm-wide culture of innovative forward thinking and consistently challenging the traditional delivery of legal services."
