ALG wins award for learning & development programme
ALG was awarded the 'Best collaboration with external specialists' award at the international Managing Partners' Forum Awards 2019 in London last night. The award was for our unique learning and development programme, the ALG School of Business & Law, built in partnership with UCD Sutherland School of Law and UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School in delivering our programme.
On winning the award, Julian Yarr, ALG Managing Partner, said: "Our vision for the ALG School was to build a market leading development programme from trainee through to partner. The School is unique in that it brings together the experience and knowledge of some of our most senior lawyers and business leaders, the commercial insights of some of our clients and the academic excellence of UCD. It's collaboration in its truest sense and this award is fantastic external recognition of the success of the School."
ALG was shortlisted for four awards in the internationally renowned MPF annual awards. We were also placed as runner-up in the 'Best community engagement' award for our work with Focus Ireland and the Mercy Law Resource Centre. The awards are open to international professional services firms and focus on management excellence.
