COVID-19: Our approach & business continuity
Together we are facing difficult and unprecedented times. We are all trying to navigate the challenges posed by the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
In developing our plans at ALG, we have sought to strike a balance between our need to continue to provide quality client service, with measures designed to protect the health and safety of everyone concerned.
Health and wellbeing
Our priority will continue to be the health and wellbeing of our employees, our clients and our business contacts. This is fundamental to our values of being a responsible business.
ALG's Covid-19 Response Team has been monitoring the situation daily.
In line with recent announcements and guidance from Government and health authorities, we have proactively implemented a number of measures and policies to minimise risk and mitigate the further spread of the virus.
Some actions that we have taken include:
- people working from home
- using phone and video conferencing in place of face to face meetings
- postponing international business travel
- cancellation of client events
- requesting advance information from visitors attending our offices
- continually guiding staff on how to protect themselves and avoid the spread of the virus
Continued client service
Our offices remain open with the vast majority of our people now working from home. All of our client teams have remote access to our systems and the majority of our communication is now by telephone, email and video conferencing.
Although this is a fluid and fast changing situation, we are confident that our scenario planning will support robust business continuity.
We are aware of the challenges of our clients as we continuously update and advise on legal issues that are relevant to their business.
Your primary ALG contact will continue to be in contact with you but please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
In the meantime please stay safe and well.
