Four Winning Deals of the Year Airfinance Journal Awards 2019 for ALG Aviation Team

A&L Goodbody's (ALG) Aviation & Transport Finance team have won four 'Deals of the Year' awards at the Airfinance Journal Awards 2019. The awards recognises excellence in the delivery of aviation finance transactions.

The ALG winning deals are:

• Overall Deal of the Year: Apollo Global Management / Athene $3.5bn M&A 
• Middle East Deal of the Year: Dara Aviation $500m Islamic Financing for 18 Aircraft 
• M&A Deal of the Year: MUFG-DVB Bank €4bn M&A
• Lessor Unsecured Bond Deal of the Year: Nordic Aviation Capital $786m Private Placement
