Sarah Dugdale named ‘Emerging Dealmaker of the Year’ at Insider Dealmakers Awards
Sarah Dugdale, Corporate and M&A Partner in our Belfast office, was named Emerging Dealmaker of the Year at this year’s Northern Ireland Insider Dealmaker Awards, held on 20 March at Belfast’s Europa Hotel.
ALG was also recognised in the winning:
- Private Equity/Venture Capital Deal of the Year for our role in advising Kingsbridge Health Group on its acquisition by Exponent Private Equity
- Deal of the Year (value £2.5m-£10m) for our role in advising BGF on its investment in Woodland Kitchens NI
The Insider Dealmaker Awards recognise and celebrate professional advisory firms, banks and investors who are driving mergers and acquisitions, funding transactions and other corporate deals throughout the local market in Northern Ireland.
Our Corporate and M&A team in Belfast was shortlisted for 15 awards in total across seven award categories, including:
- Corporate Law Firm of the Year
- Dealmaker of the Year – Partner Mark Thompson
- Emerging Dealmaker of the Year – Partner Sarah Dugdale
- Private Equity / Venture Capital Deal the Year
- Deal of the Year (above £10m)
- Deal of the Year (£2.5m - £10m)
- Deal of the Year (below £2.5m)
The judges commended Sarah’s active role in the Northern Ireland deals market over the past 12 years, highlighting 2024 in particular as an exceptional year of “high-profile and market leading deals”.
