Returning to the workplace: What should employers be considering?

The Irish government's Roadmap for Re-opening Society and Business sets out the plan for a gradual easing of lockdown restrictions. It was followed closely by the Return to Work Safely Protocol, which contains key steps for employers in protecting the health and safety of workers as they return to work.

During a recent ALG webinar, Duncan Inverarity and Triona Sugrue from our Employment team and Jason Milne and Mark Thuillier from our Health and Safety team considered this guidance. They discussed the practical measures employers are taking to facilitate a safe return to the workplace against the backdrop of the legal risks and requirements of employment and health and safety law.
