Fund Structure: The Variable Capital Company (VCC)
Our Asset Management and Investment Funds team have put together a briefing on the Variable Capital Company (VCC) fund structure. A VCC is a public limited company whose share capital does not have a par value but is equal to the net asset value of the VCC at any time. It is suitable for authorisation as a UCITS or an AIF. It may be open ended, closed ended or have limited liquidity. It is subject to company law, except where requirements are specifically disapplied.
For more information on this please contact Nollaig Greene, or Yvonne McGonigle, Knowledge Lawyers, or your usual contact on the Asset Management & Investment Funds team.
