Top employer queries in Ireland arising from COVID-19 shutdown – Part 2
The second and third week of the shutdown phase in Ireland saw the closure of more businesses, the enactment of more emergency legislation and the introduction of the Temporary Wage Subsidy Scheme, as more and more jobs are impacted by the COVID-19. The key legal development was the enactment of the Emergency Measures in the Public Interest (COVID-19) Act 2020 on 27 March 2020.
