Aisling advises both domestic and international clients in relation to a wide variety of contentious and non-contentious employment law issues as well having a busy corporate advisory practice. She has particular expertise in issues facing employers in the tech sector and is known for her strategic and practical advice to clients in respect of European Works Counsels, IR, mergers, acquisitions and disposals, corporate restructurings, large scale collective redundancies, TUPE, harmonization of employee terms and conditions, and advising on all employment aspects of large global outsourcings.
Aisling regularly advises HR professionals on a range of employment related issues such as how to manage difficult employees in areas such as whistleblowing investigations, disciplinary procedures, performance review, absenteeism issues, and incidents of alleged bullying and harassment (including sexual harassment), advising on all aspects of employment related data protection, corporate immigration, managing the use of atypical workers in the workplace, advising clients on how to handle breaches of its intellectual property by employees and former employees, and general day-to-day employment related issues.
Aisling has acted for a range of public and private sector clients in respect of unfair dismissals, personal injuries, injunctions, equality claims, agency worker and fixed-term worker disputes, and judicial review proceedings and represented employers in the Irish High Court, Court of Appeal, Circuit Court and the Workplace Relations Commission.
