Brendan Abley is an associate in A&L Goodbody's Environmental & Planning group. Prior to joining the firm in 2019, Brendan practised in the Environmental, Planning and Resource Management team at Chapman Tripp (New Zealand's leading full service law firm). Brendan specialises in statutory approvals for large-scale infrastructure developments, including transport and offshore renewable electricity projects. He has significant experience in advising on planning and environmental law issues in corporate transactions and on planning/environmental compliance matters. Brendan also has expertise in planning and environmental litigation and dispute resolution, including the defence of enforcement actions.
