Catherine Canavan is a senior associate in A&L Goodbody’s Finance department. Catherine’s experience includes large scale finance projects focusing on the restructuring of financial products and businesses. Her work involves a blend of advisory and transactional work in general finance, fintech and finreg. She has particular expertise in the acquisition and disposal of loan portfolios and in the management and execution of complex bank or financial institution projects. She also advises credit institutions and corporate borrowers in relation to lending transactions and acts in an advisory capacity on more bespoke issues for financial institutions.

Catherine previously worked with an international bank and has also spent seven months on secondment with a big five tech giant.
