- AIG Group on the transfer by scheme of arrangement of the Bermuda branch business of Chartis Excess to another Chartis insurer established in Bermuda and on the court sanctioned transfer of Chartis Excess's remaining insurance and reinsurance business to an AIG UK insurer. The Bermuda transaction was the first of its kind in Ireland or the UK and was a key factor in A&L Goodbody being ranked Ireland's most Innovative Law Firm for 2013 by the Financial Times
- The Hartford on the sale of its Irish life assurance subsidiary, Hartford Life Limited to Columbia Insurance Company (a Berkshire Hathaway company)
- Irish aspects of international mergers and acquisitions including Alico/Metlife
- UBS on the transfer of a high value part of the life assurance business of an Irish authorised life insurer to a third party life undertaking based in France
- Numerous transfers of captive insurance portfolios, including for the BMW and Procter & Gamble Groups
- Major international insurance groups on Irish corporate and regulatory aspects of group restructurings
- Numerous insurers and distributors on ongoing regulatory issues. These include day to day issues such as outsourcing and distribution arrangements, conduct of business / market and compliance issues
