Our Dublin office partnership with P-TECH
P-TECH is an education model that offers students the opportunity to develop the skills and competencies required to enter and thrive in the workforce or continue further education. ALG has partnered with P-TECH Ireland since 2023. Our employees deliver skills-based workshops, mentoring and work placements to young people aged 14 -18 years in local DEIS schools in the Dublin’s North East Inner City.

- delivering interactive work readiness workshops to Junior Cycle students
- supporting students’ professional and personal development through mentoring opportunities delivered by ALG employees

Based on their specific needs, jumpAgrade matches students with a vetted tutor who will provide weekly online grinds and personalised feedback.

ALG is a long-term partner of Junior Achievement Ireland (JAI). Our employees volunteer to deliver educational programmes to both primary and secondary schools in the local community and beyond. Junior Achievement encourages young people to remain in education and teaches them the skills they need to succeed in the working world. We also provide annual funding and pro bono legal advice to JAI.

Rodney Overend Educational Trust
The Rodney Overend Educational Trust was established by ALG to honour the memory of one of its lawyers, Rodney Overend, a graduate of Law in Trinity College Dublin in 1982. The Trust seeks to support promising young law students with their third-level education costs and a scholarship is awarded to an undergraduate student entering Law in Trinity. The first bursary was awarded in 2013.
