We have extensive legal experience in acting for clients seeking to judicially review public law matters including decisions of An Bord Pleanála, the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), the Commission for Aviation Regulation, Government Departments, Dublin Airport Authority (DAA), the Irish Tax Appeals Commission (TAC) and their regulatory bodies.
We regularly advise public bodies and utilies, as well as suppliers bidding to the public and utitilties sector on procurement law issues and we have acted in most of the leading High Court procurement cases in Ireland and Northern Ireland both for public bodies and unsuccessful tenderers.
The Disputes team has been involved in almost every Tribunal that has been convened in the State since the Beef Tribunal in the 1980’s. We use this experience and expertise to advise our client's on their rights to fair procedures and due process if required to participate in a tribunal or other public inquiry process. We also advise clients on appearances before various Oireachtas committees.
